Job Summary:
The Sr. Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support to the Human Resources department. This position manages more advanced HR objectives such as legal compliance, employee benefits, orientation, onboarding, and progressive HR projects. (This a temporary position with potential of becoming permanent).
Responsibilities:
• Provides HR support for managers, supervisors, and employees and assists in documenting and updating HR processes
• Takes on and executes higher complexity special projects and tasks as assigned, maintains applicable federal, state, and local required postings up-to-date, and participates in the employee relations investigations
• Administers the facility’s leave of absence policies (FMLA, LTD/STD), processes employee status change requests (addresses, promotions, terminations), and assists with HR inquiries in areas of payroll, benefits, and employee relations
• Prepares new hire packets and administers orientation for manufacturing employees, manages the temporary staffing for hourly manufacturing positions, and assists with the on boarding process for potential new hires
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related fields
• 3+ years of experience in human resources
• Strong computer and internet skills and proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Good interpersonal relationship skills and strong communication skills
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen
